SFotP is proud to announce the addition of our newest Board Member - Monte Atwell:

Monte Atwell

It’s an honor for me to join the scholarship foundation board. My wife and I have been involved with the foundation since 2012, and we’ve always been impressed by the people and the desire to give back to Haida Gwaii. The foundation’s mission to strengthen communities on Haida Gwaii by creating opportunities for young people is unique, and I see a lot of similarities in to own background. I love to see bright, motivated people get an opportunity to develop their potential. I was fortunate to have found those opportunities on my own path, and reflect often on the people that helped, mentored, and pushed. I hope my experiences can help guide the future of the foundation and the students we serve.
